Your career spans consulting, writing, and speaking. What was the defining moment when you realized you wanted to combine these passions into a multifaceted career?

The defining moment when I realized I wanted to combine HR consulting, writing, and speaking into a multifaceted career came during a particularly impactful client workshop. I was facilitating a leadership development session, and as I saw the profound effect my insights had on the attendees, it became clear to me that my passion for developing talent was more than just consulting.

The transformational stories I witnessed fueled my desire to capture my life experiences in writing and to share them more widely through speaking engagements. That was when I realized by combining these passions, I could extend my impact—helping businesses thrive while also inspiring individuals on a personal level. This holistic approach allowed me to blend strategy with storytelling, leadership with communication, and ultimately create a fulfilling, multi-dimensional career.

Your book, Without Passion, What's the Purpose?, dives deep into the idea of purpose and passion. Can you share the moment when you first uncovered your own passion, and how it changed the trajectory of your life?

In my book, Without Passion, What's the Purpose?, I talk about how so many people feel disconnected from their purpose, living out lives that don’t fulfill their deepest desires. For me, the moment I uncovered my passion was during a time when I felt adrift in my career and life. I was moving through the motions, chasing societal expectations, but something was missing.

That moment of clarity came when I realized that everything I was doing lacked the sense of purpose and meaning I craved. It was then that I began to reflect on my talents, strengths, and what truly excited me. That internal reflection led me to a passion for helping others uncover their own potential through HR consulting, speaking, and writing.

When I embraced my passion, everything shifted. I stopped settling for mediocrity and started pursuing a career that aligned with who I was at my core. It gave me the fuel to write this book, to reach out to others who feel lost or unfulfilled, and help them tap into their own passion and purpose.

Once you identify that fire inside, it can truly change the trajectory of your life, allowing you to live authentically and with greater impact. This is what I hope readers take away from Without Passion, What's the Purpose?—that there’s a deeper, more purposeful life waiting for them if they are willing to do the work and discover what truly lights them up

In Sisterhood Sabotage, you focus on healing and fostering stronger connections among women. What inspired this book, and why do you believe it's a critical topic today?

What inspired Sisterhood Sabotage was my own journey of healing and the realization of how often women experience betrayal, sabotage, and rejection in their closest relationships—sometimes even from other women. I wrote this book to address the emotional damage caused by these experiences, which can linger for years if not properly healed. I wanted to create a guide that would not only help women understand these wounds but also empower them to break free from the pain and reclaim their emotional well-being.

This topic is particularly critical today because we live in a time where women are fighting for empowerment and unity, yet many still struggle with the emotional scars of past betrayals. These scars can hold women back from building genuine connections, whether personally or professionally. Sisterhood Sabotage aims to bridge that gap by offering practical steps to foster stronger, more authentic connections and a path to inner healing. At a time when community and support are more important than ever, this book provides the tools to move beyond pain and create relationships that are rooted in trust and mutual growth.

Many people struggle to identify their life's purpose. What advice would you give someone who feels lost or unsure about their path in life?

For those who feel lost or unsure about their life's purpose, my advice is to start by reflecting on what truly excites or energizes you. Purpose often stems from the intersection of your passions, skills, and what brings you fulfillment. Ask yourself, “What activities or causes make me feel alive or give me a sense of satisfaction?” This process may take time, but paying attention to what sparks joy or curiosity can guide you toward your path.

It’s also important to embrace the journey. Purpose is not always discovered overnight—it evolves through experiences. Allow yourself the flexibility to explore, make mistakes, and adapt. Journaling, meditating, or even seeking feedback from trusted people in your life can provide valuable insights.

Keep in mind your purpose may not be tied to a grand calling—it could be found in everyday actions, relationships, or small contributions that make a difference. Trust that as you continue exploring, clarity will come.

You emphasize the power of intuition in Without Passion, What's the Purpose?. How can readers cultivate their intuition to guide them in both personal and professional decisions?

Cultivating your intuition begins with trusting yourself and paying attention to your inner voice. To do this, I suggest regularly practicing mindfulness or meditation to quiet external distractions and tune into your instincts. By creating space for reflection, you can start to notice the subtle nudges that guide you toward decisions that feel right.

Another way to build intuition is by observing patterns in your feelings. When something excites you or makes you feel uneasy, it’s your intuition signaling whether you’re on the right path. Journaling these experiences can help you recognize the internal cues that guide both personal and professional decisions.

Practice trusting your gut, even in small decisions. The more you rely on your intuition, the stronger it becomes, and soon you’ll find it leading you toward opportunities and choices that align with your purpose. Cultivating this skill will allow you to navigate life with greater confidence and clarity.

What are some of the key steps from Sisterhood Sabotage that women can implement today to strengthen their relationships with each other?

In Sisterhood Sabotage: 5 Key Steps to Transition from Heal to Whole, there are several actionable steps women can implement today to strengthen their relationships with each other. One of the key steps is learning to forgive. Holding onto past betrayals or misunderstandings can create emotional walls, but through forgiveness, women can rebuild trust and create deeper, more authentic connections.

Another essential step is becoming emotionally intelligent. This means being aware of your own emotions and understanding how they affect your interactions with others. By cultivating emotional intelligence, women can navigate difficult conversations and conflicts with empathy and maturity, fostering healthier relationships.

Embracing progress and living in the present are also critical components. It encourages women to stop dwelling on past hurts and instead focus on personal growth, allowing for stronger bonds to develop as they heal individually and collectively.

Implementing these steps helps women overcome barriers of mistrust and miscommunication, ultimately creating a supportive sisterhood rooted in mutual respect and understanding. By healing themselves, they empower each other to form lasting and meaningful connections.

As a consultant, you've helped countless individuals reach their potential. What is the most common obstacle you see holding people back, and how do you guide them through it?

As a consultant, the most common obstacle I see holding people back is self-doubt. Many individuals struggle with a lack of confidence, which limits their potential to take on leadership roles or fully engage in their personal growth. Self-doubt often stems from a fear of failure or feeling inadequate compared to others, which prevents them from embracing new opportunities or stepping out of their comfort zone.

It is importance to set realistic goals and practice resilience. Breaking goals into manageable steps allows people to see progress, reducing feelings of overwhelm. Over time, this boosts their confidence and helps them develop the leadership skills they need to thrive.

Ultimately, the key is helping individuals understand that growth is a journey, and failure is part of the process—not a reflection of their potential.
