"I want my son to grow up seeing that dreams don’t have to stay dreams. With discipline, courage, and consistency, they can become a reality." — Alejuandra
In a world that often tells us to "stay in our lane," Alejuandra, the visionary founder of ALE’B Collection, decided to build an entirely new highway. Transitioning from the high-stakes, detail-oriented world of healthcare to the fast-paced realm of luxury fashion, she brought more than just sketches to the table—she brought a surgeon-like precision to every stitch.
We’ve all seen them: the iconic, oversized clutches that have become a staple for the "woman on the go." But behind the vibrant silhouettes and bold textures lies a deeper narrative of resilience, motherhood, and a partnership with Supa Cent that proves community will always trump competition. Whether she’s sketching a new design or scaling her business with intentionality, Alejuandra’s guiding pulse remains the same: "Dream W/O Fear."
PVM Magazine sits down with the woman who is turning practical accessories into powerful statements, proving that building a legacy is about much more than what’s in your bag—it’s about the courage it took to carry it.
Alejuandra, you made a fascinating transition from the healthcare field into the world of fashion. How does that disciplined, detail-oriented mindset from your medical background show up when you’re sketching a new design or overseeing production?
Alejuandra: My background in healthcare shaped me in ways that I carry into every part of building ALE’B Collection. Working in the medical field taught me discipline, precision, and the importance of paying attention to the smallest details—because in healthcare, even the smallest oversight can make a big difference. I’ve brought that same mindset into fashion.
When I’m sketching a design or reviewing samples, I approach it with that same level of focus and care. I pay close attention to the structure of the bag, the stitching, the way the leather holds its form, and how every piece—from the hardware to the lining—comes together. Just like in healthcare, there are processes and standards that must be met before something is ready.
You’ve often shared that being a mother is your greatest motivation. When you talk about building a "legacy-driven" brand, what is the specific message or world you hope to leave behind for your children through The Ale B Collection?
Alejuandra: When I talk about creating a legacy-driven brand, it’s bigger than handbags or fashion. It’s about showing my child what it looks like to step out on faith, believe in your vision, and build something meaningful from the ground up.
I want my son to grow up seeing that dreams don’t have to stay dreams. With discipline, courage, and consistency, they can become a reality. The message I hope to leave him, and also my nieces and nephews, is that they should never be afraid to create their own path—even if it’s different from what people expect. That’s where the heart of “Dream W/O Fear” really comes from.
Your partnership with Supa Cent is a beautiful example of organic, long-term collaboration. In an industry that often emphasizes competition, how have you two managed to scale together while keeping your friendship and business alignment so authentic?
Alejuandra: My relationship with Raynell “Supa Cent “ Steward Breaux has always been something genuine, long before mixing business. Our connection started from a place of friendship, family, mutual respect, and support. When the foundation is real, it makes it much easier to grow together without feeling like you’re competing.
In an industry that sometimes pushes competition, this approach is different. We both truly believe there’s room for every woman to succeed instead of limiting themselves.
Another reason our friendship and business alignment have stayed authentic is because everything has grown organically. There was never pressure to force a partnership. We’ve always supported each other’s visions, celebrated each other’s wins, and kept communication honest. That kind of transparency helps keep both the friendship and the business relationship healthy.

The ALE’B Collection is famous for those iconic oversized clutches. What was the "aha!" moment where you realized women were craving accessories that were both massive on style and actually functional for their daily lives?
Alejuandra: The “aha!” moment came from simply observing women in everyday life, including myself. I noticed that many stylish bags looked great but weren’t practical—women were still juggling their phones, keys, and other essentials in their hands.
That’s when I realized women wanted accessories that were both bold in style and functional for real life. I wanted to create oversized bags that made a statement but also had enough space for everything a woman carries throughout her day.
That idea became a key part of ALE’B Collection—designing pieces that combine confidence, practicality, and standout luxury.
Scaling a product-based business is a huge undertaking. How do you balance the "hustle" of expanding your brand’s footprint with the "intention" of staying true to your original boutique feel?
Alejuandra: Scaling ALE’B Collection is definitely a balancing act, but for me, it comes down to staying grounded in the original vision of the brand. The hustle is necessary when you’re expanding, building visibility, forming partnerships, and reaching new customers, but the intention is what keeps everything aligned.
I focus on growing in a way that never sacrifices the quality, craftsmanship, and storytelling that made ALE’B special in the first place. Even as the brand expands, I want every piece to still feel intentional, personal, and thoughtfully designed.
For me, it’s about growing with purpose, not just growing fast. That mindset allows ALE’B to scale while still keeping the heart and authenticity that the brand was built on.
Your new collections are leaning into bold textures and vibrant silhouettes. When you’re in the creative lab, what is the "feeling" or "mood" you want a woman to have the second she walks into a room carrying an ALE’B piece?
Alejuandra: When I’m in the creative space designing for ALE’B Collection, the feeling I want a woman to have the moment she walks into a room with one of our pieces is confidence and presence. I want it to feel like she’s carrying something that speaks before she even says a word.
The bold textures and vibrant silhouettes are meant to create that moment where people look and think, “What bag is that?” It’s about making a statement while still feeling effortless and authentic to who she is.
More than anything, I want her to feel empowered, elevated, and fearless—like she’s stepping fully into her power.
Your journey is rooted in resilience. Can you share a moment in the brand’s history where things didn’t go as planned, and how you used that "healthcare discipline" to pivot and come out stronger?
Alejuandra: One challenge that stands out was navigating production, waiting on samples, making revisions, and sometimes slowing down launches to make sure the quality was right. As an entrepreneur, it’s easy to want to rush, but I knew the brand deserved patience and precision.
My healthcare background helped me stay calm and solution-focused. I reviewed what needed improvement, communicated clearly with manufacturers, and refined the product until it truly reflected the ALE’B standard.
That experience taught me that building something meaningful takes time, and setbacks are often just part of the refinement process.

From roomy statement bags to elevated backpacks, you design for the "woman on the go." As a busy entrepreneur and mom yourself, what are the non-negotiable features every ALE’B bag must have to meet your personal standards?
Alejuandra: As a busy entrepreneur and mom, I design ALE’B bags with real life in mind, so a few things are non-negotiable.
First is space and functionality—a woman should be able to carry her daily essentials with ease. Second is structure and durability, so the bag holds its shape and lasts through everyday use. And finally, statement style. Every ALE’B piece should make a woman feel confident the moment she walks into a room.
The fashion space is incredibly crowded right now. What do you believe is the "X-factor" that keeps your customers loyal to The ALE’B Collection season after season?
Alejuandra: I believe the X-factor behind ALE’B Collection is authenticity. The brand isn’t just about bags—it’s about a story, a journey, and a mindset of “Dream W/O Fear.”
That connection—combined with bold statement designs and genuine brand storytelling—is what keeps customers coming back. It’s more than fashion; it’s a brand they feel a part of.
You and Supa Cent represent a powerful image of Black women in business. What advice do you have for other Black female founders who are looking for that "right" brand ambassador or partner but don't know where to start?
Alejuandra: My advice would be to start with alignment. The right brand ambassador or partner should genuinely connect with your brand’s values and story. For Black women especially, the most powerful partnerships come from real relationships, mutual respect, and a shared vision.
When someone truly believes in what you’re building, their support will naturally feel authentic to their audience. Most importantly, trust your vision and stay aligned with your purpose. The right people will naturally align with what you’re building.
With new products and fresh campaigns on the horizon, what can your "ALE’B Babes" expect from this next era of the brand? Are there any new categories or surprises you can tease?
Alejuandra: This next era of ALE’B Collection is all about growth and elevation. Our ALE’B Babes can expect new designs that continue to push bold textures, vibrant silhouettes, and statement pieces.
We’re also expanding into new categories, including our upcoming denim collaboration with RoxketXDenim and the development of the ALE’B Voyage travel line, which I’m really excited about. The goal is to continue evolving the brand into more of a lifestyle experience, not just handbags.
There are definitely a few surprises still in the works, but one thing ALE’B Babes can always expect is the same message behind everything we create—Dream W/O Fear.
When people look back at the history of The ALE’B Collection ten or twenty years from now, what do you want the brand’s contribution to the fashion world to be?
Alejuandra: When people look back at the history of ALE’B Collection years from now, I hope the brand is remembered for showing that fashion can be both bold and purposeful. I want ALE’B to be known for creating statement pieces that don’t just follow trends, but help people from all walks of life feel confident, seen, and empowered.
More than anything, I want the brand’s contribution to represent legacy and possibility—showing that anyone with vision, faith, and determination can build something meaningful from the ground up.
If ALE’B inspires others to pursue their dreams fearlessly and create their own paths in fashion, business, or any other lane, then I would feel the brand truly made the impact it was meant to make.
